Benefits Law

A benefits law protects the rights and interests of individuals in the workplace. Benefit laws vary by state and country. Most laws address concerns regarding fringe benefits, insurance, holiday pay, sick pay, 401k or pension plans, and stock benefits. For example, the United States Pension Protection Act of 2006 is a government benefit law that regulates government pension plans. There are also benefit laws that cover the interests of the government and federal or state benefit recipients. These laws regulate the process of welfare-based plans.
