Disability Employers

According to the US Department of Labor, employing workers with disabilities, in the areas of recruitment, retention, and promotion, as well as providing them with accessible environments, gives businesses a "competitive edge". The ADA protects workers with disabilities who are qualifiedラworkers who meets the requirements for a job and who are able to perform its essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Reasonable accommodations, which modify a job or work environment, ensure that qualified individuals with disabilities have the same rights in the workplace as those without disabilities. Most employees do not require accommodations to do their job, and if they do, the cost is minimal. The US Department of Labor estimates that two-thirds of accommodations cost less than $500, and tax incentives are available for employers.
