Race Discrimination Law

Race Discrimination Law protects individual groups from being treated unfairly due to race, color, or national origin. Typically used in a job setting, race discrimination law was put in place as apart of the title VII civil rights act of 1964. This act states that no prospective employee or current employee should be denied employment or advancement in a current position on the basis of color, race, or national origin. This act which was the basis for race discrimination law also states that an employee or group of employees should never be separated from other employees on the basis of race, color, or national origin. Race discrimination law is very serious and those found in violation of the law can be punished in a court of law.
