The issue of workplace safety and security is a very serious matter and is protected by state and federal employment laws. Certain safety measures which must be adhered to by companies are usually required by OSHA to be made clear to everyone who is employed there. For instance, in most cases, safety and security training and meetings are required to be held in order to make sure that all employees understand them. Workplace safety posters are also often required to be put up in visible places and to be kept up to date by the employers. In the case that an employee has a complaint or concern about a potential safety issue, most companies have policies which are designed to deal with them.
