I was just three months from retirement and I got fired. I believe it was because I am about to collect retirement benefits. What should I do?

The first thing you should do is find a lawyer in your state that specializes in employment and labor law as he or she will be able to give you legal counsel and present your case to the court. Next you should document your case with paperwork and witnesses. You have to remember that in these cases the burden of proof falls on you because employers can fire you for any reason as long as it is not discrimination.
