Am I entitled to unemployment pay?

Question: I was recently fired at my job in North Carolina. Am I entitled to unemployment pay and if so, how much?

Response By XJ Wang:  As long as you were not fired through any fault of your own then you should be entitled to Unemployment Pension. I cannot tell you how much you are entitled to because that is decided by your circumstances and by the state of North Carolina. If you are entitled to benefits, but have not been receiving them then you should talk to a local attorney that specializes in employment and labor law.
